Currently working as, a Senior Consultant Paediatric & Neonatal Intensivist & HOD Dept of Pediatrics & Neonatology in Natus Women & children’s Hospital, Sarjapur Road, Bangalore, India

      He did his schooling in Salem, Tamilnadu, India  & stood first in the district & state third in his class Tenth public examination. After completing his 3 years of post-graduate training in pediatrics ( 2010), he worked as a fellow in the general pediatric & cardiac critical care unit in Narayana Health city, Bangalore (one of the largest Paediatric Cardiac Critical care units in the world) to complete his fellowship program in critical care (2012). He later established an 8-bed level 3 tertiary PICU in Paras Hospitals, Gurgaon & worked as a Consultant Paediatric Intensivist in Paras for 4 years.

      He completed his Fellowship program in Neonatal Intensive Care (2017) at Cloudnine Hospital, Old Airport Road, Bangalore & got trained in the care of extreme Preemies, sick newborns, Neonatal surgical intensive Care, Neonatal Transport, Developmentally supportive & family-centered care. One of the key members in pioneering “Developmentally Supportive Care in sick fragile newborns” in India. His team has conducted formatted courses & hands-on workshops in various premier institutes in India aiming to spread “DSC culture in NICU” throughout India which has won accolades from national & international faculties.

    He was awarded “The European Paediatric & Neonatal Critical Care diploma in 2019. Key member in starting Pediatric ECMO program in Columbia Asia, Whitefield (Manipal Hospitals). He is a Teacher for the Pediatric Intensive Care fellowship programme accredited by IAP-Intensive care chapter since 2017.He is specialized in providing emergency & intensive care for General Paediatric & Neonatal medicine.   

   He is the IAP Paediatric intensive Care Fellowship programme Director & the national instructor for Advanced NRP course & Executive member in “Developmentally Supportive Care Foundation for children in India” & a life member of IAP, IAP-Paediatric Critical Care society, NNF- India.

Dr.Shalu Jain is a Senior Consultant Pediatrician & Neonatologist at Umbrella Children’s Clinic, Gunjur, Bengaluru

She stood first in her district (Rampur, U.P.) in class Tenth public examination & did her undergraduate & postgraduate training in Pediatrics from G.S.V.M Medical College, Kanpur, U.P.

She completed her Fellowship program in Neonatal Intensive Care (2017) at Cloudnine Hospital, Bangalore & got trained in the care of extreme Preemies, sick newborns, Neonatal surgical intensive Care, Neonatal Transport, developmentally supportive & family-centered care.

   She has certified training in pediatric nutrition affiliated with Boston University (PGPN), which gives her an extra edge in the holistic management of her patients.

She has various publications in national and international journals to her credit and is a life member of IAP, NNF- India. Her care & empathy towards families is worth a mention. As a mother of two daughters, she has a special interest in promoting the health, nutrition & education of children.
